The company's next phase needs an outstanding New Product Introduction Leader who can execute with excellence at scale. The new Senior Director role is critical to leading and transforming NPI for the company's next phase. It requires close engagement with our product lines (All Speedboats) leaders, Business Stakeholders, and IT leaders. Challenge the status quo to enhance operational efficiency and improve the velocity and predictability of the NPI. This role reports directly to the Vice President of IT Enterprise Architecture.Your Impact
In order to meet the market demand, you will transform the current New Product Introduction Organization to a one that can launch products at a predictable, repeatable faster pace
Design NPI strategies that work towards broad goals to execute with excellence at scale
Lead and collaborate with Product Leadership to build the NPI pipeline for each product line
Closely align the NPI Product Managers with all seven Speedboats from Ideation to General Availability to eliminate delays in the GA timelines
Reestablish NPI as the epicenter for launching the product and creating internal alignment with all partners (i.e. IT, Product Marketing, SalesOps, Pricing and Revenue recognition, Legal, etc.)
Partner with all stakeholders to identify and eliminate inefficiencies in the NPI process (i.e. Automate repeatable items, improve velocity and build more predictability for product launches)
Create a comprehensive development plan for the organization, which includes thirteen individuals to grow and mentor specifically focusing on the NPI Product Managements
Demonstrate an innovative and creative mindset to improve the velocity of new product introductions and reduce friction across teams
Deal directly, take charge quickly to course correct to launch products on time whenever required
Your Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or information technology or equivalent military experience required - Master's degree a plus
20+ years of experience in New Product Introduction and Product Development
A Product Development background with excellent knowledge of commercial aspects of software products, both Cloud and OnPrem products
Deep understanding of stakeholder engagement and Business systems readiness for the timely launch of the products
Experience in building high-performance teams
Goal-oriented, Result-oriented, independent
Worked in fast-moving environments where competent people focused on solving complex problems

The IT Enterprise Architecture Organization consists of three teams performing critical functions.
New Product Introductions (NPI)
The NPI team does product introductions for all PANW product lines - This function is closely aligned with our product line (speedboats) from ideation to GA - They work closely with all stakeholders (IT, Marketing, sales ops, GCS, Finance, and Legal) to launch PANW products
The Sr.Director of NPI Engagement, Innovation, and Execution is responsible for leading this team
Business Architecture
The Business Architecture team is responsible for designing, reengineering, and automating business processes across the enterprise
Information System Architecture
The Information System Architecture team is responsible for designing the IT systems to run the PANW business

For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $187,600/yr to $303,500/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
