Sr. eCommerce Programmer

Position Description:Full stack developer with senior front end and back-end web development skills, will be tackling a wide variety of tasks in building and maintaining a digital entity (e.g., app, web page).Must demonstrate good balance and judgment in business, technical, and security analyses. Provides secure, quality, functionally-correct deliverables the first time and on time. Troubleshoot systems at all layers: network, web/DB server, server and client-side code (client browser-level) and estimate tasks with appropriate level of detail and accuracy, with emphasis in shortest possible turnaround times.General Duties and Responsibilities:Design and develop software solutions (COTS or custom) including integrations to meet demanding business requirementsMaintain and improve existing software solutions while respecting the existing architectureWork collaboratively with team members (onsite and offshore) while being able to work independentlyPerform functional and non-functional testingInteractively provide direction and technical guidance to other technical teamsAssist in providing and/or contributing expertise in technical specifications as neededAssist in providing and/or contributing expertise in enterprise-level architecture/best practicesAssist with proof-of-concept efforts on integrations and new technologiesServe as a subject matter expert for system applications and have a detailed understanding of application functionality, system design and file structuresProactively identify and make recommendations to process improvementsUses advanced knowledge of company technology and business processes to identify opportunities to further leverage the technology within the businessMake recommendations to increase efficiency, quality and/or process improvements within the manufacturing area.Other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong experience with SEO best practices and Google-specific best practicesSeven or more years of ecommerce website developmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishSolid working experience with and understanding of standards in RDBS (MS-SQL/T-SQL) web technologies (Java, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, XML, JSON, ASP.net, HTML5)Good understanding of responsive design versus non-responsive designTesting changes made to previously developed programs.Managing the full life cycle of software or applications, from initial conception to launch.Upgrading and fine-tuning software and applications beyond their deployment.Compiling feedback for site managers throughout the development process.Oversees front end architecture and back-end programmingPerform cross-platform optimization for a variety of digital mediums (desktop, mobile, etc.)Read/Speak/Write in English.
