Tranzeal s deep industry experience makes us the partner of choice for a growing number of Fortune 1000 companies, midsize enterprises and small businesses worldwide.We are currently looking for 'Sr. Engineer, Security Operations Center' to support one of our clients with the following skills:Requirement:Title: Sr. Engineer, Security Operations CenterLocation: Newark, CADuration: 12+ months (Extendable Contract)RoleContribute to cyber security requirements, design and test specificationsImplement production quality software components according to specificationsWork jointly with internal development teams to review and accommodate the attributes and analytics based on the need.Communicate security-related concepts to technical and non-technical teamsProvide mentorship to junior team membersQualificationsMinimum 3-5 years of experience working in Security Operations Center and Application SecurityExperience in a fast-moving startup environmentExtensive work experience in design and development of Cyber Security methodologies and comply to Security standardsIn-depth technical knowledge of different logging modes and monitoring the logs and do a thorough analysis.Extensive experience threat modeling and attack analysisAble to bring Security aspects in product development life cycleDemonstrable proficiency with one or more programming/scripting languagesExtensive experience with pen testing tools and security attack vectors.Strong understanding of network concepts including TCP/IP protocol stack, HTTP and TLS, DDoS detection/prevention, Intrusion detection and preventionExperienced in Data protection in transit and at Rest, Data Loss prevention techniques.Experienced in Data complianceExperience with regular expression searches as well as detecting the required attributes in huge volume of dataNetwork and host anomaly detection through both automated (NIDS/HIDS) and manual toolsExperience in Agile development environmentExperience with Automotive communication protocols would be a plus.
