SR. Front END WEB Developer (On-Site IN SAN Diego 5 Days/Week)

Alphatec Spine is looking for a Senior Front-End Web Developer to join their growing Research & Development Engineering department. This person will be responsible for owning the company's internal web application which is used by surgeons and other medical staff. This web application is a portal that houses all the different clinical applications used by medical staff to view patient data that is used prior to operations, during operations, and to measure results of surgery post-op. The goal of this Developer will be to combine all the different systems into a single platform to act as a one-stop-shop for any patient related data that medical staff need to access. The initial project of adding new functionality and pages to the application has already begun, so this developer will hit the ground running on project-based work as soon as they start. This person will also be responsible for the mentorship of other, more junior developers who get brought on to help support the application. This Developer will spend about 50% of their time doing hands-on coding, 25% will be spent doing mentorship responsibilities, and the last 25% will consist of assisting with architecture and participating in team meetings.
