To be successful in this role, you must be an organized self-starter with stellar leadership and communication skills who can work independently building relationships and driving technical solutions from inception to completion.Qualifications:- Technical Education/Degree: Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Systems Analysis or a related field.
- Typically requires 7+ years of technical architecture experience with all aspects of an integration product from design through development, testing, implementation, and production with extensive technical breadth through experience in the IT industry with a focus Enterprise file and messaging platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of IBM Managed File Transfer product suite and AWS Transfer services and corresponding architecture at the level of a domain expert.
- Experience working with but not limited to EC2, security groups, IAM roles & policies, load balancers, target groups and route53.
- Experience working with Gitlab runners on EC2 and Docker images.
- Experience with migration of On-Prem MQ Services to cloud.
- Defines standards to guide solution decisions in relation to multiple integration technologies.
- Ability to coordinate and work with diverse groups of authorities
- Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation
- Determines the right configuration of the integration platform to suit the application strategy.
- Establishes the environment and instance strategy for integration platform environments.
- Leads efforts to establish, define, maintain and communicate integration architecture guidelines, principles, standards and best practices across multiple product teams as they migrate to the cloud.
- Analyzes business context (trends and business strategy) to derive future state integration architecture.
- Leads architecture and development for Infrastructure as Code (IAC) for deployment of IBM MQ and IBM MFT, using tools such as terraform, Ansible, Gitlab pipelines, Python, Packer and shell scripting.
- Design and Build pipelines for MQ queue managers and rehydration
- Architecture and design of IBM MQ RDQM (Replicated Data Queue Managers) & MQ clusters and IBM Managed File Transfer components.
- Configure and manage AWS Commercial and GovCloud services, including but not limited to EC2, security groups, IAM roles & policies, load balancers, target groups and route53
- Create and manage Gitlab runners on EC2 instances.
- Create and manage Docker images & containers for use with Gitlab runners.
- Identifies organizational requirements for the resources, structures and cultural changes necessary to support organizational change initiatives.
- Assists in program to develop, maintain and govern the architecture across the organization.
- Leads, consults or is responsible for multiple architectural engagements.
- Viewed as an authority and provides knowledge and counsel to others.
- Participates in IT strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, business cases and business innovation portfolio development.
- Leads and coordinates domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction.
- Develops business case(s) for approval.
- Recommends allocation of budget to meet architectural initiatives.
- Develops, and communicates domain-wide policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
- Leads and facilitates the domain's architecture governance process.
- Reviews and approves domain level recommendations to architectural standards.
- Consults on enterprise-facing projects.
- Leads research and evaluation activities for technology solutions.
