- Responsible for mentoring and career development of Content Managers and Senior Content Managers
- Defines overall Team strategy/goals/expectations
- Facilitates the cultivation of team culture
- Manages the relationship to other teams
- Partners with Senior Management, Operations and HR to establish and communicate company strategy and policy
- Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to address them.
- When necessary undertake content management activities in support product launches and other marketing programs.
- Manages partner relationship
- Communicates identified risk to partners
- Clears roadblocks and manages external negotiation
- Owns resourcing/project staffing (in consultation with Partner)
- Manages team process/workflow definition and optimization
- Oversees documentation and training
- Defines and enforces the limits of the CM role

- Experience managing content management or web production teams
- Experience using a complex CMS such as FatWire, AEM and SDL
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, JSP and familiarity with Git/SVN would be ideal.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience working on web production teams
- A Bachelor's degree or better; preferably with a focus on marketing, design, or communication.
- Experience managing content for a global audience and using a CMS required.
- Deep knowledge of how content management systems and related system processes work.
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, JSP, and enterprise content management systems a plus.
