About the RoleThe Senior Manager, Head of Culture will join the Talent Development & Growth team within the People Infra-structure Team as part of People & Places, working with partners across our People & Places (HR) team and the business to consult and drive Uber's culture activation efforts. This role will be part of the TD&G leadership team.Since launching our Company's mission and values in late 2021, there are many activation efforts in play. This role would lead these efforts, and identify future strategies through partnership with business leaders and key functions across HR and People Infrastructure. This role continues to be key in continuing our journey of transforming culture here at Uber.We are a values-led company - this means our values define who we are, what we go after, where we spend our time, and how we work together in pursuit of our mission to reimagine the way the world moves for the better. In year three, this role will continue to advance activation efforts around living & modeling - across three areas:

Leader Ownership: enabling leaders to feel responsible for ensuring our culture is experienced in the areas of the business they influence, and take actions.

Intentional Integration: consulting with key stakeholders to ensure our systems and processes support our desired culture and create a consistent experience internally and externally.

Employee Engagement: Driving rituals that ensure our employees relate to our values more personally and understand our values in the context of their work.

What You'll Do

Develop & execute holistic global strategies that support being a values-led company.

Cultivate a deep understanding of Uber's culture and how it impacts business priorities and objectives.

Partner with key business leaders as a culture and change management expert to consult on local strategies that drive culture adoption within each business unit.

Advise and consult with Talent Management, Performance, and HR stakeholders on key talent practices and processes that embed Uber's values in how we evaluate and assess performance.

Partner with business and HR leadership to move our culture transformation forward through sharing and consulting on existing strategies and efforts while evolving strategies for the future.

Act as a consultant with HR and Business leaders to increase engagement and activation efforts through communicating progress using data, storytelling, and other methods to show progress, and drive behavior change in service to business outcomes.

Partner across Talent Development & Growth teams to ensure Uber's culture is threaded through all programs, practices, and resources.

Basic Qualification

7+ years of professional experience: Business, Culture Transformation, Employee Engagement

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in OD, L&D, or Talent Management preferred

Experience building efficient processes that scale across a large organization

Strong communication skills and team orientation

Comfortable working with Sr. Leadership

Attention to detail; ensuring numbers/metrics are accurate and are reviewed/delivered on time.

Internal motivation: you are a self-starter, responsive, practical, and detail-focused.

The ability to juggle multiple projects at a time in an exciting, fast-paced environment, both collaborating as a team to stay in sync and working independently to get the job done.

Comfortable independently navigating ambiguity

Ability to devise creative solutions to reach intended outcomes

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$180,000 per year - USD$200,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$180,000 per year - USD$200,000 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
