Sr Manager, Software Engineering (Autonomous Digital Experience Management - ADEM)

Your CareerPalo Alto Networks’ ADEM (Autonomous Digital Experience Management) team is looking for a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead the development of scalable, cloud-native services that power digital experience monitoring and analysis. You will manage a team of backend engineers building distributed systems and data processing pipelines running on Kubernetes in GCP. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical judgment, people management skills, and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and service architecture.Your ImpactLead a team of engineers building high-scale backend services, deployed in Kubernetes and leveraging GCP’s data and compute infrastructureOwn project delivery across the full software lifecycle—from design and development to deployment, monitoring, and supportDrive technical strategy and architecture for core ADEM services, including data ingestion, processing, and analyticsPartner with Product Management, Architecture, and SRE teams to ensure performance, reliability, and security at scaleEncourage engineering best practices in CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure automationGrow and mentor a high-impact engineering team through coaching, feedback, and career developmentPromote a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement within the teamIdentify process and architectural improvements to scale engineering effectiveness and system performance
