Sr. Mgr, Controllership Accounting

This position is a leadership role on the Universal Studios Hollywood Controllership team with broad responsibility for areas including Corporate Financial Reporting, SOX, Payment and Banking Operations, Finance/IT projects. The position is a key resource and partner to Universal Parks and Resorts (UPR) Finance as well as USH FP&A, Operations Finance, IT, SalesOversee monthly and quarter-close process for USH and CityWalk, organize timelines & deliverables and manage overall financial statement review, forecasting and analysis. Oversee technical accounting areas including fixed assets, intellectual property, capital & operating lease accounting, and taxes.Provide analysis and reporting for budgets, estimates and cash flow pacing.Manage audit processes and improve and monitor key internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and Sarbanes-Oxley. Maintain internal control documentation, provide leadership for standard operating procedures.Partner with offshore team to oversee tasks and enhance account reconciliation quality across USH as well as review key accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis.Engage with cross functional UPR and USH teams to align and drive finance transformation, acceptable accounting treatment for business initiatives and specific transactions.Liaise with NBCU Tax, UPR, NBCU Corporate and key stakeholders to ensure USH’s compliance with latest guidelines and regulationsOther ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
