Please note that this is a 1 year contract position. Solution-oriented specialist in enterprise Microsoft technologies needed to help product development team design reliable and secure operating system builds to support customers worldwide. This is a highly collaborative role that will advise the team on technical solutions developer proof-of-concepts, leading to global rollouts.The successful candidate will have extensive experience configuring Windows environments and creating scripts for in-field setup, as well as experience with Microsoft endpoint management technology to automate the patch and update process.The ideal candidate will should understand Microsoft Security Products and be able to translate requirements into action plans, with an ability to communicate strategies to technical stakeholders.RequirementsMinimum of 6-8 years of IT experience, preferably with 3-5 years in a Microsoft Systems Specialist roleDeep experience configuring Microsoft Windows, with goal of designing medical device operating system environments, while maintaining and improving the security postureMaintain and support in-field operating systems through evaluation and deployment of updates, patches, and new version releasesCreation, Support & Implementation of customized Windows 10 LTSC, Windows 10 IoT, and Windows Server ISO images for customer distributionParticipate in software development Design Reviews, providing advice and feedback from a secure operating environment perspectiveUse strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation of infrastructure services to satisfy a diverse range of system requirements.Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Configuration Manager and Intune)Knowledge of modern identity management protocols and ability to be open to learn new ways of thinking (e.g., Zero Trust) and new technologyBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and work experience and training/educationCertification in at least one of the following: Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or Microsoft 365: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.Ability to coordinate with Enterprise IT staff to collaboratively create product solutionsStrong communication skillsStrong relationship building and customer service skillsAbility to work both independently and in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.Applicants must provide their phone number.
