Sr Network Services Engineer (Remote within Commuting Distance)

Under the general direction of the Manager, maintains the integrity of enterprise-wide local area networks and cyber security infrastructure.  Participates in planning, developing, testing, implementation and support of technical solutions for company-wide data and voice communications.  Works with vendors and service providers to ensure stability and reliability of company's critical voice and data infrastructure. Engages with company-wide business units to provide network design solutions for business requirements. Works to ensure the highest level of associated systems operations, reliability and security. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Leads in the planning, design, testing, implementation and participates in the support of technical solutions for data and voice communications infrastructure in support of Network Services; Provides 24x7 on call technical support as required.

 Engages with company-wide business units to provide network design solutions for business requirements, and works to ensure the highest level of associated systems operations, reliability and security.

 Provides technical guidance and expertise to team members and associated staff.

 Participates in department planning, research and development to ensure that company is using up-to-date technologies to comply with corporate standards, goals and objectives.

 Leads vendor management activities to ensure continued reliability, availability, and security of company's telecommunications and data network infrastructure.
