Sr. PaloAlto Expert Firewall Engineer

Position: Sr. PaloAlto Expert Firewall Engineer Location: Bakersfield, CA (100% Onsite - Work from Office (Original Client Location)) Duration: Fulltime Salary: Salary + Benefits (As Discussed) Job Description:

• Expertise Hands-On Experience of at least 5 Years on Palo-Alto Network Firewalls.
• Expertise knowledge on Installation of PaloAlto Firewalls right from scratch.
• Assist in providing Design considerations for New Application & Security Zones deployment in-line with Security Guard rails
• Worked on Migration of Firewalls to PaloAlto, have performed ALCM activity of PaloAlto Firewall models
• Can Independently work on PANOS Upgrades and Model Upgrades & Migrations of Firewall
• Expertise on Configuring Security Zones, Commissioning of New Sites, Security Policy creation in line to Guard rails
• Management of PA Firewalls via Panorama management Servers Template creation and Pushing on to manage Firewalls
• Configuration Virtual routes & expert knowledge on routing protocol like OSPF & BGP
• Expert Knowledge on IPSEC VPN configuration, Natting, HA configuration
• Troubleshoot & Fix day to day Network Issues related to Security Policies, Routing & Operations of Firewall
• Hands-on experience on Algosec AFA Firewall analyzer, Analyzing Risky rules, Policy Optimization and Tracking & Reviewing of Policy Changes to maintain healthy Security Rule base
• Hands on experience on monitoring Tools such as Solarwinds
• To take part in technical consultations and plan for new solutions along with Application & Infrastructure Team
• To engage in fixing the calls with Vendor support team to resolve the problems
• To take part in projects deployment along with network engineering, server, database & application Team and providing security solution in line to Security gaurd rails
• To interact with customers via phone or email to work towards fixing the network issues
• Working Knowledge on ITSM process, such as change management, Ticket resolution, Identifying & Implementing automation Ideas, and revision control
