Sr Principal Systems Engineer

• You will lead engineering teams to develop and deploy space and ground based space-to-ground SATCOM systems
• You will perform system integration of multiple efforts to integrate space SATCOM systems with satellites and satellite operations centers
• You will direct and participate in analyses and implementation of advanced communication applications
• You will also direct various systems architecting and engineering activities such as system requirements definition, interface definition, design, interface management, data architecture development, systems integration, performance analysis, lifecycle cost analysis & estimation, decision analysis, development and refinement of communications concepts of operation, and verification and validation
• And you'll independently collaborate with Government program office representatives, FFRDC, SETA, and contractor personnel

• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Physics, and or Mathematics plus fourteen (14) years or more experience, or a Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience
• An Active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to consent to a polygraph examination
• Experience with development, integration, and/or operations of DoD or other Agency (NRO, NSA, NASA, etc.) SATCOM ground and space systems
• Experience with leading systems engineering teams focused on integration of complex space and/or ground systems
