- Learn the technology stack that powers our content management systems.
- Establish working relationships with brand and business stakeholders across entertainment and news teams.
- Begin to understand editorial workflows, CMS needs and contractual obligations for National Geographic, Marvel, ABC News and ABC Owned Television Stations.
- Develop a roadmap and requirements to transition legacy tools to the next-generation CMS.
- Offer workflow improvements and opportunities for the news and entertainment portfolio to help drive the business forward. • Develop an understanding of the direct-to-consumer offerings and the ways in which the next-generation CMS can power their continued growth.
- Have a point of view on which CMS features or integrations the businesses should focus on next.
- Triage bugs in user workflows across the web, mobile and CMS scrum teams.
- Lead the roadmaps of the news & entertainment CMS products including new feature development, ongoing maintenance, and bug fixing.
- Be seen as a product leader in the content management space, having delivered high quality features that have had meaningful impact on the news & entertainment business.
- communication- clear concise communication- must be able to tailor to business and to tech audience
- roles are highly collaborative and will be responsible for driving work for large cross functional teams
- video side- video player experience must have- ours is a custom player- so not looking for a specific experience in this but this is a must have
- CMS experience must have- we are actively building out a proprietary system so having either out of the box or prior proprietary system experience is fine- but a must have
- interviews will be with manager followed by team interview -business and tech teams
