SummaryA Senior QA Automation Engineer plays a key role in the Company's strategy and work to transform our business systems and enterprise thinking. This role will define and create a Robust Test Automation Framework and bring a test early/test often mindset to all areas of the organization. A Senior QA Automation Engineer will work closely with IT and the business divisions to be responsible for helping to build out requirements, test plans, and automated test suites for critical integration solutions/applications for the company. A Senior QA Automation Engineer is responsible for understanding the relationships between the different business channels and their transactions throughout the global enterprise. This includes Retail, Wholesale, eCommerce systems, and marketing concepts on a global scale. RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver testing artifacts in a timely and accurate manner to meet business and IT goalsDefine and create a robust automated regression test framework to ensure functional and non-functional requirements of the businessDeliver solutions with full documentation and reporting sufficient for an enterprise solutionDefine and execute system, regression, and performance and scalability testing to meet quality objectivesFoster and evangelize a test early/test often mindset throughout the enterpriseMaintains a high level of curiosity, constantly growing knowledge relating to expectations of system functionality and contentApplies gained knowledge to suggesting process improvements in team meetings and open discussionsBe that person that everyone wants on their project/teamUnderstand data flow and data integration of disparate systemsIdentify and source/create test data needs into appropriate databases in an accurate and timely mannerWork with Analysts and Business Users to create and translate functional specifications into test plans and automated test suitesQUALIFICATIONS: Five (5) years of QA Automation experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and demonstrated abilityExperience creating and organizing automated regression test frameworks from the ground upExperience working in an Azure DevOps environmentExperience with ERP, Retail POS, and WMS systems a plusExperience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations RSAT a big plusDesign test strategies and test cases for complex systems and execute various types of testing, e.g., functional, integration, end-to-end, on web and mobile platformsAssist stakeholders in determining appropriate quality goals and acceptance criteriaWeb Services (REST and SOAP)XML, Flat Files, etc. (CSV, Fixed-Width)Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required with experience in required skillsetSuperior active listening skills, with a strong display of active inquisitivenessStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsThrives in collaborative environment but comfortable with ambiguity
