Sr. Quality Engineer (On-site)

We are currently seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will review product expectations and identify appropriate safety, reliability and durability testing. The position also requires coaching and training our RD&D team on appropriate testing standards to enable alignment of product design and product performance requirements. Applicants should possess strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate also has excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain testing requirements and results to a broad and diverse audience. A day on the job looks like this: Owning and developing product test plans (furniture) Creating and maintaining a library of test methods/protocols to ensure consistency and repeatability of all in-house testing and third-party lab testing Presenting product test plans and test results to RD&D and Supply Chain to facilitate informed product decisions Analyzing test results to summarize product performance against testing requirements Identifying industry standards for raw material and finished product testing Collaborating with In-House Lab Manager to identify required testing capabilities Participating in failure analysis and facilitating baseline testing for product improvement projects Leading and/or supporting root-cause analysis for customer service inquiries Collaborating with Product Integrity and Compliance teams
