Employees who are not fully vaccinated must undergo regular testing beginning May, 2022.What you’ll doAs part of Bank of the West, you’ll be making a positive impact on the environment, your community, and the planet at a leading sustainable bank.We are looking for a proactive and personable advisor with banking experience to fill the role of Senior Relationship Banker. You’ll be a face of the branch as you enhance customer relationships, refer customers to appropriate business partners, and sell financial products to prospective clients. At the same time, you’ll guide less experienced bankers and use your expert knowledge of bank products and services to help customers with more complex needs.You are the first point-of-contact with the bank, you’ll assess customers’ needs and recommend appropriate financial services—this will include personal banking and lending, home financing, and small business solutions. You’ll establish new accounts in compliance with regulations and bank procedures. You’ll also promote financial products through assigned leads, outbound calls, telemarketing, targeted direct mailings, and in-branch selling.You will collaborate with internal partners including business relationships managers, mortgage bankers, and others. When less experienced bankers face complex services or sales transactions, you’ll step in to help. Success will be defined by meeting individual goals that contribute to increased branch sales, revenues, and customer experience.QualificationsWhat you needPractical banking knowledge usually obtained through both advanced education and at least three years of professional experience

A personable nature and good customer service skills, both verbal and written, as well as presentation skills and impeccable telephone etiquette

Expert knowledge of banking products, consumer lending products, credit products, and other financial services for both business and retail customers

Excellent sales ability, and portfolio growth and management ability

Strong ability to build relationships, be part of a team, and work collaboratively

Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude

Excellent planning and organization skills

Attention to detail; you can perform branch procedures with hawk-like precision

Comfort and proficiency working with technology and software

A willingness to enthusiastically manage constantly changing priorities
