Sr. Software Developer (Java)

On-site in any of the following locations:

6+month contract plus possible extensions

Job Description

Description of job duties:

  • 4+ years software development experience in software modules in the application for the product and provide fixes for the current issues with necessary documentation.
Required skills:

  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals;
  • Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures;
  • Good understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, and distributed persistence technologies.
  • Proficient in: Java on Linux environment.
  • Candidate should be able to work with little to no direction, minimal training, and may be considered the subject matter expert.
Key is excellent Java Development & Design as well as high level Linux skills.

Candidate needs to be self-driven. Must collaborate well and communicate well. Understand the ask and act on without too much direction.
