Role: Sr. Software Engineer - Linux KernelLocation: San Jose, CA (Remote)Type: 6- 12 months / 6 months C2H

Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of the Linux kernel with 10+ years of experience in this field
  • Familiarity with Centos/Red Hat is a plus
  • Open-source kernel contributions would be a plus
  • Solid understanding of the following:
  • device driver
  • virtualization
  • x86 architecture
  • Kernel debugging
  • Threading
  • Driver integration
  • Familiarity with RPMs and the kernel compile process (Kconfig etc)
    • Experience debugging OOM-killer issues
    • Familiarity with user-land debugging tools such as Valgrind

    Academic qualifications:
    • At least a BS in Computer Science (not Computer Engineering), MS preferred.
