Sr Systems Engineer

Sr. Systems Engineer - El Monte, CA (Onsite) -Direct Hire We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to interface and partner with key business and technology teams to understand business processes and requirements in order to design, develop and support cross technology solutions in a Hybrid Cloud/On-Prem environment Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated dynamic environments to support the needs of delivery teams
• Collaborate with other engineers to develop deployment strategies for existing and new services
• Experience with building reliable systems at scale
• Evaluate and implement technologies that improve efficiency, performance, and reliability
• Develop and deliver creative solutions that automate systems engineer functions
• Build, configure and support components in a hybrid Exchange Environment
• Build, configure and support O365 components
• Configure, install, and support Microsoft Windows Servers
• Troubleshoot and resolve server related issues
• Maintain operating systems with regular maintenance
• Manage assigned projects
• Provide technical assistance and support
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering Team Members and Management as well as Development, and Application Support Teams
• Any other duties as assigned by management
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage to tight deadlines with a mindset for flexibility
• Excels in a fast-paced environment and ability to partner, dynamically adjust priorities and deadlines as needed to meet the larger business goals

• 10+ years of experience as a Microsoft Systems Engineer
• 5+ years of experience managing hybrid (on-prem and cloud) Exchange environments
• Experience with administrating and managing Microsoft O365 products and services
• Experience with writing scripts (PowerShell or other) for automation
• Experience with MS Windows and VMWare
• Experience with High Availability/Site Recovery design principles
• Experience managing/renewing certificates is a plus
• Experience with Citrix NetScaler or VDI is a plus
• Project Management experience is a plus
