Job Description We are seeking a Sr UI/UX Designer for a 100% remote opportunity to join a company that specializes in cell therapy by providing personal biobanking. This role is a 6-month contract to hire and requires full stack experience and a strong portfolio. The company is comprised of a team of cutting-edge scientists and researchers from Harvard, Mass General Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Stanford, experienced doctors, and innovative entrepreneurs. We are looking for a Sr Designer to help design the digital experience across all platforms and devices. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to design experiences that showcase the client's unique service and help fulfill the mission of empowering people to live longer and healthier lives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for consumer-led design, technology and health and is excited to deliver best-in-class products and experiences. This role will report to the Head of UX. We so require someone with leadership experience who can work with cross-functional teams, but also roll up their sleeves and produce. They should understand design processes and best practices, hands-on design execution, along with strong professional communication & presentation skills.   • 7-8 years of experience in a UX role with proven leadership experience and tactical experience in UX/interaction design
  • Knowledge of trends and best practices in user experience design; understanding of interface guidelines and app frameworks
  • Passion for creating outstanding and intuitive user experiences for scaled audiences
  • Proactive, disciplined, innovative, persistent and able to manage multiple projects in a highly energetic environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating diverse work experience
What You Will Be Doing
  • Develop information architecture, site maps, wireframes and workflows for user-facing digital products to create solutions to complex interface and interaction design challenges
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders include Product, Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Operation and Science/Medical teams to translate business requirements into user experiences
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customers' needs, the product and the competitive landscape.
  • Lead prototyping and user testing
  • Work with a team of internal resources, external resources and key partners, as well as lead cross-department communication.
  • Emphasis is on UX strategy, but a background in visual creative design is a plus
