Atrilogy's direct-client is seeking a Sr. UX Designer to lead their UX efforts. This role is a

full-time, direct hire position and 100% Remote. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Analyze and interpret business requirements that often include complex workflows and financial data.
  • Lead UX discovery, including selecting the most impactful activities and artifacts to complete, and asking incisive questions that make the most of limited time with stakeholders, users, or Subject Matter Experts.
  • Create artifacts at appropriate levels of fidelity that help clarify business and user needs as well as current and future user flows (e.g., personas, scenarios, flow diagrams).
  • Develop and document information architecture, screen concepts, functionality, and interaction design (e.g., sitemaps, screen sketches, wireframes, prototypes).
  • Research and apply best practices, reuse existing patterns, and work within a visual style guide - except when it's not the best way to meet the current business and user needs. In that case, create smart, new solutions and patterns.
  • Professionally present UX concepts, recommendations, and deliverables, advocate for the optimal user experience, and facilitate feedback sessions.
  • Plan, moderate, and report on usability tests.
  • Collaborate closely and effectively with other functional roles, such as product managers, business analysts, business systems analysts, engineers, and quality assurance/engineering teammates.
  • Support development and QA teammates during grooming, building, and testing, to answer questions, ensure the vision stays intact, and perform UX QA.
  • Juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Educate teammates about UX best practices and research.
  • Provide design critiques and guidance to other team members.
  • Champion a unified design language across multiple scrum teams.
  • Help to maintain the style guide, pattern library, and other resources.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Must-Have
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 6 years of User Experience Designer experience, creating responsive web and/or mobile applications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience wireframing and/or Prototyping
  • Minimum 3 years as lead or sole user experience designer on a project or product

Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of cross-functional teams, including distributed/virtual teams
  • Expert understanding of UX methodologies, and ability to select the right "tool" at the right time from a well-stocked "UX toolbox"
  • Awareness of and ability to adapt to evolving trends in design and development
  • Ability to accept and resolve critique and direction gracefully
  • Comfortable in a corporate environment and in interactions with higher levels of management
  • Above-average interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Experience working in Allige Scrum framework
