The Sr. Web & Data Analyst will help deliver and maintain robust collaboration and data analytics solutions to support 24/7 business operations. This position will focus on facilitating the seamless flow of information throughout the company, providing data-driven insights while considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users. The Sr. Web & Data Analyst will be responsible for designing and modifying Microsoft SharePoint sites, scripting data extractions and transmissions between systems, developing decision support reports, and performing database administrative tasks

Department Specific

Works with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements related to business systems (Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain)

Provides options for data mining and decision support reporting

Identifies opportunities for implementing interfaces to accommodate data transfers between various systemsDevelops inventory of available business data sources and creates standardized processes for ensuring data integrity Designs, develops, and implements websites leveraging Microsoft SharePoint as the primary platform

Supports the administration, development and maintenance of the Information Technology sites and provide consulting to other departments with pages on the intranet

Shares web services and data analytics knowledge with colleagues in IT and internal customers who will be maintaining their own sites

Tests and coordinates the implementation of new and updated web pages on the intranet

Utilizes Lean management tools and processes to support performance improvement initiatives

Applies SQL patches and/updates following Microsoft s recommendations and requirements

Assists the Database Administrator on various projects and support initiatives Develops and maintains documentation related to use of tools and reports

Education

BS/BA degree in computer science, business administration or 5 years of work experience focused on Information Technology

Experience

A minimum of 5 years experience in developing technical specifications, data flow diagrams, application flowcharts, and interpreting business requirements

Proficient in developing Web Parts, InfoPath Forms, and other SharePoint customizations with a minimum of 3 years experience designing SharePoint sites

Experience with SAP Crystal Reports 2020, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft Power BI

At least 3 years experience with database management responsibilities (SQL or Oracle)

Excellent knowledge of scripting data extractions and transmissions involving SQL/Oracle/Python

Familiarity with developing decision support reports using SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau

Familiarity with ASP.NET, VB.Net and/or other programming languages for Application Programming Interface (API)

Familiarity with ETL methodology/implementation via SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS), Bulk Insert commands, and the BCP utility
