Collaboration Engineer (Meetings, CVI, Calling, Contact Center, Webex Teams App) including admin/integration w/ Webex Control Hub (macros) As Senior Collaboration Engineer, you will be an essential member of our IT Team, providing strategic guidance, senior level technical skillset, and operational support to the Senior IT Network Manager and broader IT team. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of our WebEx cloud-based collaboration platform and solutions (including videoconferencing, VoIP, contact center, IM&P, digital signage, meeting room management, and large-scale event production) in order to provide maximum performance and availability at all branches, including all shopping centers, airports, regional offices, corporate headquarters, and remote worker locations. From our hybrid work environment based in Century City, CA, the Senior Collaboration Engineer will work directly with a variety of internal and external clients, providing senior-level design, consultation, implementation and support of enterprise collaboration systems that best meet the short and long term business objectives.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Implement, manage, maintain, and monitor all WebEX collaboration technology, including videoconference and meeting solutions, VoIP systems, call center solutions, instant messaging, file sharing solutions, digital signage, room schedulers, media players, wallboards, and audio-visual components.
  • Provide IT management team and global IT colleagues senior level expertise, strategy, and guidance for:
    • Maximizing usage, efficiency, and ROI of collaboration technology (WebEx) including support / ticket resolution
    • Assisting in the collaboration technology roadmap / strategy
    • Introducing new features/capabilities for WebEX (calling, contact center, control hub)
    • Resolving operational and project issues for all cloud-based collaboration systems at all local and remote sites.
    • Develop and administer training on client-facing collaboration applications in conjunction with our internal Academy.
    • Continue to sunset legacy technology

Job Functions:
  • Manage and maintain national/global Cisco Webex cloud environment (Meetings, CVI, Calling, Contact Center, Webex Teams App)
  • Manage and maintain Appspace digital signage, room scheduler, and workplace experience platform, including iPad schedulers.
  • Provide senior support for all aspects of planning and execution of special events requiring collaboration technology with client groups as required (e.g. Corp Communications, Academy, Facilities, IT, etc.), including high profile senior executive meetings, town halls, and tenant meetings.
  • Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of all collaboration systems, including integrated conference room systems (audio, video, lighting and shade control).
  • Assist Sr. Manager with vendor management and coordination of maintenance contracts, purchasing, renewals, support, and repairs (collaboration system manufacturers, TSPs, low-voltage, electrical), including installation, upgrade, porting and/or disconnection of traditional and emerging voice circuits and products.
  • Provide project/product/release management of collaboration systems employing industry-standard methodologies as appropriate (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Kanban, waterfall).
  • Create, update, and resolve Service Desk trouble tickets within area of expertise using ServiceNow portal Assess business impact of complex issues, working with IT staff to set expectations and provide resolutions.
  • Maintain and augment a robust collaboration systems document repository, including policies/procedures, as-builts, single line drawings, and other technical documentation.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of company network standards and local, regional and global network.
  • Configure and maintain proactive collaboration monitoring toolset leveraging existing applications and suggesting more efficient apps to ensure optimal collaboration system metrics.
  • Perform and provide frequent trending & analysis reporting to demonstrate collaboration systems usage and efficiency; recommend changes accordingly to maximize performance and minimize costs.
  • Possess strong emphasis on customer care, engagement, satisfaction, and partnership with a wide range of clients including shoppers, technicians, local management teams, C-level global executives, external partners, business leaders, and tenant representatives.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Cisco Certifications: current CCNA minimum, current CCNP Collaboration preferred
  • 5-7+ years of experience of providing senior-level support of enterprise national and/or global Cisco collaboration and networking environments; equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered
    • Senior level knowledge and RCA techniques for video conferencing protocols (e.g. H.323, H.264, H.221, and SIP)
    • Senior level troubleshooting skills for traditional network and IP telephony technologies
    • Senior level telephony admin skills, including dial plan management, e911 implementation, and call routing
  • 5-7 years of AV design, implementation, and support with strength/depth in Webex cloud environment (Meetings, CVI, Calling, Contact Center, Webex Teams App) including s

    enior level Webex Control Hub administration skills / integration skills (macro creation)
    • Extensive knowledge and experience in designing and installing integrated collaboration meeting rooms

      including stage management, presentation, breakout room management, and live/historical reporting/troubleshooting.
  • Experience with management of virtual servers, with an emphasis on Cisco UCS and VMware offerings
  • Experience with digital signage, room schedulers, workplace experience platforms, and CDN's, such as Appspace is a big plus
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows environment (including Azure Active Directory, IIS and SQL)
  • Proficiency with Agile/Scrum/Kanban product and project management using tools such as Atlassian/Jira
  • Scripting and coding experience (e.g. Python and APIs)
  • Mac and PC proficiency, including Microsoft365 suite for both platforms
  • Exceptional team player and thoughtful mentorship of junior engineers and technicians
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
  • Active role in Cisco/Webex online community preferred
  • Appreciation and respect of cultural differences within a global company
