Staff Accountant

Description An organization in Los Angeles is in the need of a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant must have 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting and finance. The Staff Accountant will maintain systems to account for financial transactions; maintain chart of accounts; follow bookkeeping policies and procedures. Reconcile bank statements electronically. In-load and manipulate electronic data according to established routines. Maintain general ledger by entering and properly classifying transactions, printing checks, making deposits, invoicing, and other accounting transactions. Prepare monthly billing to clients, and payment and posting of accounts payable. Maintain historical records by filing documents and images in an organized manner and according to established patterns. Compile records for financial and other audits by CPAs, government agencies, health plans and clients, etc. Systems: QuickBooks, Excel, Crystal reports.
