Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Robert Half team in the West Los Angeles. This is a full-time, direct hire position with Fortune 500 level benefits. This position will serve as an important member of our Full-Time Engagement Professionals team. This is a dedicated team of accounting professionals who assist our clients on various mission-critical projects. Such projects would include clean-up and reconciliations projects, year-end or audit support, software conversions, or other ad-hoc objectives.Responsibilities will include: Reconciles bank accounts monthly Preparing journal entries and adjusting entries Reviewing general ledger accounts Posting monthly, quarterly, and year-end accruals Assist with the monthly reconciliation of all accounts Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions Performs other related duties as assignedRequirements Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Intermediate Excel Skills Knowledge of QuickBooks ERP experienceEducation and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required 2+ years of accounting experience requiredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
