Staff Accountant

Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Campbell, California. The role involves a range of accounting tasks, including the analysis and evaluation of accounting transactions and records, as well as assisting with tax and financial statement preparation. Responsibilities: Analyzing and evaluating accounting transactions and records Assisting with tax preparation and financial statement preparation Utilizing software such as Lacerte and Quickbooks for accounting tasks Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing Managing challenging projects independently Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Conducting bank reconciliations Maintaining the general ledger and preparing journal entries Assisting with month-end close Utilizing accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks Working with Lacerte Tax Software. Requirements Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Bank Reconciliations Knowledge of General Ledger maintenance Ability to process Journal Entries accurately Familiarity with Month End Close procedures Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks Experience with Oracle accounting software Ability to use QuickBooks effectively Knowledge of SAP for financial transactions Experience with Lacerte Tax Software for tax preparation and filing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
