Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a Part-Time Staff Accountant in San Francisco, California. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing company finances, overseeing our accounting procedures, and engaging in financial reporting. Responsibilities: Ensure accurate recording of business transactions in the company’s accounting software and maintain thorough records. Conduct income statement analyses and prepare and reconcile balance sheets. Assist in annual budget processes and periodic forecasting. Collaborate with the tax department in preparing federal, state, and local tax documents. Monitor financial trends and provide insightful information to management. Carry out periodic audits and make recommendations based on the findings. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and organizational regulations and guidelines. Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to improve and streamline processes. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. Utilize software such as Yardi Voyager for accounting tasks, and extract necessary data when required.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Bank Reconciliations Ability to process Journal Entries Expertise in executing Month End Close procedures Familiarity with Yardi Voyager software Skills in Data Extraction Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrityRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
