Staff Accountant

Description PART-TIME - (FUND) ACCOUNTANT POSITION FOR A WELL-ESTABLISHED PRIVATE EQUITY FOUNDATIONPOSITON OFFERS BENEFITS AND VACATION PAYResponsibilities● Investment Transaction Management: Update cash forecasts with fundings, distributions and expenses on a weekly basis. Prepare and file funding and distribution notices regularly.● Financial Processing: Prepare PCS wire transfer forms for fundings and redemptions, coordinating with the CFO for transmission to banks and/or investment managers.● Data Management: Enter funding, distribution and valuation data into the Private i (Pi) platform. Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations of Pi data with bank account records.● Reporting: Assist in preparing Deployment Reports, Performance Reports and summaries of liquidity and redemption terms as required.● Committee Support: Provide support for the annual Investment Committee presentation, including preparation of meeting minutes. Attend Subcommittee meetings as needed, ensuring accurate record-keeping.● Audit Preparation: Prepare investment confirmation forms for the annual audit and assist with other audit preparation tasks as assigned.Requirements Requirements● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.● 3+ years of experience in accounting operations, preferably in foundation, or investment management setting.● Strong foundational knowledge in basic accounting principles, including but not limited to general ledger operations, account reconciliation and the processing of financial transactions.● Familiarity with investment accounting systems, specifically Private i (Pi), is highly desirable.● Experience or general familiarity with private investments, including understanding of fund structures, distributions, and valuations.s.● Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.● Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.● Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
