Staff Accountant

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the heart of San Bernardino, California. This role plays a crucial part in our finance department, requiring the candidate to handle tasks such as account reconciliations, fixed assets management, and accounts payable. Experience with Oracle or any large ERP system is essential.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage accounts payable tasks Regularly perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy Track and manage fixed assets within the company Proficiently use Oracle or a similar large ERP system for various accounting tasks Create and maintain journal entries as required Assist in the month-end close process Apply 'Account Coding' for financial transactions Ensure all transactions are processed and recorded in the General Ledger Handle any inquiries related to 'Accounts Payable (AP)' Regularly review bank reconciliations and make necessary adjustments.If you would like to be considered for this position, please call Yvette Merk at (909) 493-6082 immediately!Requirements Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of accounting. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required. Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is a necessary skill. Must have comprehensive knowledge and experience with General Ledger management. Ability to perform Journal Entries is essential. Experience with Month End Close processes is needed. Proficiency in Oracle is mandatory. Knowledge of Account Coding is a key requirement. Experience in managing Fixed Assets is vital.
