Description Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial analysis reports, maintaining the general ledger, processing payroll, and developing annual budgets. The successful candidate will also collect pertinent information for third-party audits, oversee financial reporting, and coordinate with the finance team to ensure corporate budgeting processes are carried out efficiently.Responsibilities:

Prepare accounting related entries to numerous general ledgers.

Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry.

Regularly maintain detailed reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.

Provide detailed analysis and explanation of all transactions.

Prepare documentation for external auditors when required.

Review company expenditures and make recommendations to management on cost-saving initiatives.

Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

Assist in managing the financial reporting for the organization which includes monthly income statements, balance sheets, projections and budget variance reports.

Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.

Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field.

Proven experience as a staff accountant or similar role.

Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations.

Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes including budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.

Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with relevant accounting software.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Attention to detail.

Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
