Staff Accountant

Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant in La Jolla, California who will play a crucial role in our team. You will be performing a variety of accounting tasks, including processing vendor bills and invoices, maintaining up-to-date vendor relations, and handling various accounting and billing responsibilities. Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently handle the processing of vendor bills and invoices after obtaining necessary approvals from managers Ensure that invoices and expense reports comply with our established policies and procedures Properly code invoices and input them into the General Ledger Keep vendor relations and information current and accessible Generate reports or provide information as requested by managers or vendors Offer administrative and clerical support when required Maintain a sound understanding of customer and client payment processing Use a computer terminal to effectively retrieve and post information Key in information with speed and accuracy Take on other accounting or billing duties and projects as assigned. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately Familiarity with General Ledger operations Experience with creating and adjusting Journal Entries Expertise in executing Month End Close procedures Knowledge of NetSuite accounting software Proficiency in using Oracle financial software Experience in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks Proficiency in using SAP financial software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
