Staff Nurse II - NICU

Position Overview:Alta Bates Summit Medical Center is San Francisco East Bay's largest private, not-for-profit medical center with a total of 1,082 licensed beds. Each of our campuses has a 24-hour emergency, obstetric and medical/surgical services in both Oakland and Berkeley. Bachelor's in Nursing preferred

Master's in Nursing preferred

Current CA RN License required

BCLS required

NRP required

Department-Specific Licensure and Certifications:TB required (Antepartum Testing)

Advanced Fetal Monitoring - AFM required (Antepartum Testing)

Department-Specific Experience:1-2 years of recent OR NICU experience required (Surgical NICU)

Experience in Women and Infant Service line, L&D and Antepartum preferred

Skills and Knowledge:Demonstrates working knowledge of patient care techniques, medications, treatments and general health care procedures

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in fast-paced environment with changing priorities
