DescriptionPerforms work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into/out of the laundry facility while maintaining high quality standards.Responsibilities/Essential Functions:Include but are not limited to: inspects all materials for damage or excessive wear and properly reports findings to appropriate person for resolution; removes one order at a time from trolley to perform heat seal or return to stock; moves completed trolley to staging area. Ensure emblems are sewn straight and/or have correct names sewn on garments. Maintains safe and clean work environment and observes best practices in all production activities while attaining a minimum of 100% of the established production standard for tasks and other duties as assigned.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Position involves repetitive motions over the duration of the entire shift. Bending, reaching, pulling, twisting and lifting; use of hands for grasping. Requires standing/walking for long periods of time on concrete floors. Work is performed in a warehouse environment which can be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including extreme heat/cold as well as dust and noise.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Exposure to productivity standards and tight deadlines. 2-4 years work experience in production or manufacturing with primary focus on customer service while maintaining a positive working relationship with others.Must be able to differentiate between colors; recognize and match numbers; distinguish between cotton and synthetics. Need to have the ability to understand all required training, written/verbal instructions and possess good verbal and/or written communication skills. Should have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team and the ability to meet attendance schedule.Aramark is a federal contractor and requests priority referrals for protected veterans.
