Job Description:
Position Summary: The Strategic Capital Sr. Analyst will provide support to the Principals and VP in activities related to M&A, equity investments, and growth partnerships in both domestic and international markets. The position will be part of the ETS Strategic Capital team and will work with Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and Finance to develop, support and execute strategies and actions that enhance growth opportunities and ensure long-term sustainable competitive advantage for the company and its business units. The successful individual will support them team through deal sourcing, market research, project management, due-diligence, transaction closing, and post-transaction integration. - Identify new market opportunities and help with thesis/strategy definition
- Develop and track metrics for assessment of growth opportunities
- Evaluate strategic opportunities and make recommendations to the team concerning tactical plans/strategies (including risks) to implement new business growth activities
- Support the ETS Strategic Capital team (VP, Principals) with all M&A and equity investment deal processes including deal execution (market analysis, prospecting, deal sourcing, due diligence negotiations, legal documentation, financial modeling, financial advisory and valuation of strategic alternatives, risk assessment, scenario analyses, etc.), transaction closing and post-merger business integration
- Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the job function
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Science or any relevant quantitative subject required
- 1 to 3 years of transactional experience in sell-side and buy-side M&A, debt and equity financing, and strategic advisory; valuation & return on investment (ROI) analyses, and assisting in negotiations
- Experience working on M&A and/or equity investment deals preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal
