2024 Strategic Operations Intern, US

About The RoleWe are looking for current students to join Uber as a Strategic Operations Intern on the Postmates team for Summer 2024 (12 weeks)! In this role, you will identify areas of opportunity, determine prioritization, and ensure alignment across the broader team to implement the strategy you will help create.What You'll Do

Implement data analysis and generate insights from quantitative and qualitative research

Plan and complete a scalable program to drive growth in select markets

Present findings and insights to the broader Postmates team

Collaborate with Uber teams across the region

Basic Qualifications

Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled as a bachelor in Business, Communications, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or any relevant field with at least one semester remaining to complete after this internship.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in productivity tools (email, calendar), Google Suite

Previous internship experience in consulting or financial firms

Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as partner management, consensus building and project management

Strong analytical skills, excellent time-management and organization

Storyteller - Ability to craft a story out of very few as well as billions of data points. You can interpret sophisticated information and teach it to anyone.

Love for quality presentations - You believe every presentation is an opportunity to share valuable insights. You pride yourself on making quality presentations and you are more than happy to help your teammates do the same.

Attention to detail - your are not afraid to get into the weeds of a problem and are able to complete a task thoroughly, no matter how big or small

Grit and perseverance - You're passionate about a challenge and push yourself to persevere when others back away.

About the TeamThe Postmates Operations team is responsible for growing the Postmates Brand in select markets through new eater acquisition and improving engagement and retention of our active eater base.
