Student Engagement Associate

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Student Engagement Associate based in Pasadena, California. This role is positioned within the education industry and will involve facilitating student engagement through various channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting initial phone contact, administrative follow-up, and student support campaigns with current and potential students. Handling inbound calls and emails requesting information and providing timely responses. Recording all pertinent information concerning the admissions process accurately in the database systems. Managing a high volume of outbound calls to prospective students to understand their educational goals and interests. Assisting in maintaining communication with students throughout the application process. Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data entry and order entry tasks. Handling email correspondence with students and other stakeholders. Participating in student support campaigns to enhance student engagement. Conducting administrative follow-ups to ensure smooth processes for students. Scheduling appointments for students as necessary.Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Experience in a call center customer service environment Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls efficiently Strong customer service skills Excellent data entry skills Experience with order entry processes Ability to handle email correspondence effectively Experience in scheduling appointments Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Detail-oriented and organized Able to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
