Our staff is well-trained and highly skilled qualities that are vital to maintaining excellence in care and service.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:The Hospital Medicine Program Supervisor administers the Hospital Medicine Program and acts as a liaison between DHMF, HM physician leadership, and the hospital. The incumbent demonstrates proficient administrative and organizational skills and maintains a professional and effective working relationship with HM clinicians, HM operational leadership, and hospital staff and leaders. This position effectively supervises in a manner that engages and retains well qualified staff, coordinates the day-to-day operational aspects of the program, works closely with staff and clinicians to ensure all clinical, operational, and administrative goals are met, and acts collaboratively as a liaison between the Hospital Medicine Program and the rest of the hospital.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

3+ years lead or supervisory experience or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise productive, engaged work groups and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. Knowledge of or ability to learn the budgeting process, management reports, accounting and patient billing process and systems.

Bachelors degree or equivalent.

Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure with minimal direction. Supports providing exceptional patient care within a highly regulated and constantly changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a Hospital Medicine Department acting as a lead, coordinator, supervisor, or manager preferred.

Bachelors or Masters degree in business, finance or healthcare administration or related filed or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred.
