Has operational responsibility for the clinical/technical aspects of a section of the laboratory. Performs job duties of Medical Technologist; performing a variety of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic procedures of a moderately and highly complex nature, following established standards and practices to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school

Current California CLS license

Current licensure with the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or equivalent

Minimum of three (3) years laboratory experience in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science
