Supply Chain Planner

Title: Supply Chain PlannerLocation: Fremont, CA Type: Contract Hours/Schedule : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Start date: ASAP Pay Rate Range: $30-$37Responsibilities:

The candidate will routinely interface with fellow Planners, Production Execution, Quality Management, Inbound/Outbound Logistics, TPM, Manufacturing Management, CMOs, Vendors, and other business partners.

Develop and implement weekly and monthly finite schedules for assigned materials based on requirements, component availability, and capacity of assigned work centers.

Communicate with manufacturing management and floor personnel or vendors concerning daily production issues that affect the completion of the schedule.

Maintain appropriate inventory levels of assigned materials to support inventory goals and production requirements.

Responsible for the analyzing and managing appropriate inventory control actions regarding short dated or expired or obsolete materials.

Analysis and development of appropriate safety stock levels for assigned materials.

Coordinate and plan non-commercial demand (product development batches) and new product launches.

Support senior management in strategic planning and decision making.

Identify necessary updates to Master Recipes for assigned materials in conjunction with MDM, PE, and QM.

Maintain MRP material master data for assigned materials utilizing the MDM process.

Performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g., EEO, FDA, etc.) and Company policy and procedures.

If applicable, support system implementation and/or upgrade efforts.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field

Excellent math skills. Must possess strong data entry and typing skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
