Supply Chain Technician - Mail Room, Mission Hills

REH's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.Providence is calling a Supply Chain Technician - Mail Room who will:

Be responsible for picking up Facey Mail from the local post office daily, separating and sorting mail for corresponding locations and clinic departments

Be available as needed for any supply transfers or pickups from the Clinics

Be responsible for separating large quantities of mail for assigned PO boxes ensuring mail is delivered to the corresponding locations

Be responsible for using our mail machine to add postage to any incoming mail from Jade, Spa, other Providence locations and Facey clinics

Be responsible for looking up any names of any mail recipients that do not have assigned address location listed. Fill out receipt of delivery documents for any registered mail that arrives to track receipt of delivery to assigned locations

Be responsible for answering the doorbell, any deliveries received from UPS, FED EX and OnTrack and insure they are delivered to the corresponding departments in the Annex building

Be responsible for delivering all stamped mail daily to the local post office before end of shift

Will require lifting, bending, and standing and lift up to 25-50 pounds

Will drive mail to post office and medical supplies to various hospital locations

This role is an in-hospital position and will report into the office daily as scheduled

Required qualifications for this position include:

Combination of education and directly applicable related work experience

Relevant experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment recommended, preferably one in which an electronic inventory management system was used

Within 30 days of Hire: HealthStream Customer Service Certification

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

Medical materials management experience

Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving
