Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Documents are prepared in accordance with written SOPs
  • Ensure that RMAs are received, processed, repaired and delivered to customer
  • Ensure RMA service reports/repair notes are completed and accurately recorded
  • Receive, refurbish and test service/loaner equipment
  • Become familiar with the use of the support ticketing system
  • Provide technical assistance to customers (assist in ticket resolution)
  • Provide support to customers during software/hardware updates
  • Scheduled availability on-call for remote service issues
  • Ensuring issue response and closures are aligned with contractual SLAs
  • Gain proficiency in OCT calibration and testing
  • Support Manufacturing during peak cycles or as needed

Reporting Teams: The training teams for all products and customer service personnel will report to the Sr. Director of Customer Success

Job Qualifications and Education:

Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum 10-15 years experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing or Customer Support. Experience with Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

  • Familiarity with Windows networking and administration
  • Familiarity troubleshooting, repair and assembly of ophthalmic devices
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with strong customer focus
  • Expertise in supporting solutions that combine hardware and software
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team across various departments
  • A results-oriented individual, with proven ability to achieve or exceed objectives
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, Salesforce.com and similar platforms
