Systems Administrator

Pay: $55-58Responsibilities:

• Creates, configures, and maintains Linux based operating systems in a world-wide enterprise environment consisting of Red Hat Linux.
• Creates, administers all windows (OS) servers including Active Directory, MS Exchange, Certificate Authority-Private Key Infrastructure
• Reviews tickets and resolve them promptly with updates to customers
• Demonstrated ability to handle technical challenges. Troubleshoot and solve problems with existing Linux/Windows based systems quickly and completely
• Utilizes monitoring systems to monitor complex heterogeneous IT assets including servers, operating systems and software to detect abnormalities in the system quickly.
• Generates and interprets historical monitoring reports, including alert, outage, bandwidth, and performance reports.

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or MIS, or other field of Engineering, Business or area of functional responsibility preferred, or equivalent 7+ years of industry work experience. Ability to program in an administrative language (e.g., Perl, shell scripting).
• Learn operational procedures and must be ready to respond to Disaster Recovery situations for the supported applications.
• Must be able to manage an assignment from start to completion; must be adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner and meeting assigned deadlines. Able to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
• Ability to use discretion and handle sensitive/confidential information. Demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable regulations and Company operating procedures, processes, policies, and tasks.
