IT Systems AdministratorThe IT Systems Administrator will be supporting the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Mission Planning & Execution Program (SOMPE) and Naval Special Operations Forces (NAVSOF).Job Duties:

• Build Information Assurance compliant Windows Based image
• Ensure compatibility with systems in use by the customer base
• Maintain Information Assurance compliance
• Administer Windows and Linux servers: Familiarity with Active Directory, installing and updating Linux OS and applications
• Understanding of client/server relationship within a standalone offline environment
• Follow established processes for requesting or updating new software
• Provide IT support as required by customer base
• Research, test, and validate software/hardware
• Create and update documentation supporting the image
• Provide detailed documentation to the customer and Program Office as required

• Candidate will typically have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or:
• 3+ years of directly related experience or military training may supplement formal education
• Active Top Secret Clearance required
• Required experience includes, but is not limited to:
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite, working with computer and server hardware, network equipment, and standard peripherals
• Familiarity with the following is desired but not required: ACAS, TAK, HBSS, Android, QNAP
• Desire to seek out, learn, and test new capabilities that may benefit the SOF NSW Tactical community
• Selected candidate will exercise initiative and independent action in support of company goals
• You must be able to effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and priorities, and work effectively and independently in a dynamic environment
