Description

Robert Half is seeking a talented Systems Administrator! This Systems Administrator must possess a thorough knowledge of networking and load-balancing. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing escalation and administrative support for client issues, participating in project assignments, interacting with clients from various industries, and working collaboratively with our team to deliver top-notch IT services. This Systems Administrator will also assist the VCIO (Virtual Chief Information Officer) in preparing and reviewing reports and documentation for the Client Business Review process. Responsibilities

  • Influence and develop new designs, architectures, standards and methods for large-scale distributed systems
  • Engage in service capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning
  • Maintain servers, load-balancers, and data storage across a variety of location
  • MSP -50% travel greater SF Bay Area - SF Oakland, Walnut Creek, MarinRo

Requirements

  • Efficient in crafting, analyzing and fixing large-scale distributed systems
  • A proven understanding of HTTP traffic, content delivery and caching
  • Familiarity with network operating systems - as well as programming or scripting language - is preferred
  • Working knowledge of clustered and virtual storage solutions
  • MS Windows 7 in an Active Directory environment experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Imagin
