Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer IV MSI is seeking a Systems Engineer IV to support one of the world’s largest, fastest-growing, top Fortune 10 Companies. OverviewScope of work includes hands on lab work, multidisciplinary testing, data collection and debugging. Work well in a fast-paced team based environment. Must be able to work effectively and learn quickly. Responsibilities• This individual will support sensor Characterization, standardizing sensor characterization test flow, optical test setup, test automation and data analysis.• Perform test setup and collect sensor data in the lab, based on different use case requirements for different types of sensors, such as time-of-flight sensor and cameras.• Collaborate with sensor engineers and tech leads to evaluate and develop new sensor technologies• Create and maintain good test documentations and lab test standard operation procedure (SOP) documents• Conceive and develop automation test scripts using MATLAB, Python or other languages• Identify additional tests and characterizations needed to augment existing models and data Required Skills• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Physics, or a related experience• Basic knowledge of optical sensors and electrical hardware• Hands-on experience in sensor characterization, debugging test setup and data analysis• Programming and simulation experience with MATLAB, Python or other coding language• Experience in collecting, analyzing and presenting characterization data• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams• 10 years experience including academic years of experience.
