Job Description

Are you a self-starter who is creative, resourceful, and organized? Are you interested in making an impact at a high-growth organization? Guardant Health is looking for a Talent Engagement Specialist who will join us part-time. This role will help support our talent development and engagement efforts.

Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:

  • Assist in the coordination of Guardant Health University classes & programs.
  • Foster connection and collaboration by planning company-wide (virtual) events, programs, and initiatives to drive our culture and employee engagement.
  • Develop creative marketing assets and campaigns for talent development and engagement programs.
  • Support and innovate on culture-building strategies to support new hires and ongoing employee experiences.
  • Develop and analyze key data insights around employee experience and devise sustainable action plans to drive meaningful outcomes.

A Few Other Details Worth Mentioning:

  • This part-time position would be 15-20 hours per week
  • The position will be a remote hybrid role based out of our beautiful San Diego office.
  • This position reports directly to the Associate Director, Talent Development, and will be a valuable member of our People team.

    Qualifications

    Factors for Success:

    • 1+ year(s) of relevant experience in business, communications or analysis/strategy preferred.
    • Capable self-starter who is motivated to build a career in biotech/life science.
    • Internally motivated "can-do" attitude who strives to get things done, regardless of challenges encountered.
    • Team player who is able to work collaboratively across the organization.
    • Can maintain confidentiality and be trustworthy with sensitive information
    • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Strong communicator who has excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
    • Able to successfully manage time and juggle competing priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Ability to work independently with strong project management skills.
    • Superior knowledge of and experience in Slack, Canva, and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PPT).
    • Experience using SAP Litmos and/or other Learning Management Systems is a plus

    Additional Information

    Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies up to 20 lbs and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposed to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
