EngAGE is looking for enthusiastic wellness, arts and learning instructors willing to lead a group of

active older adults. For this role, we welcome certified professionals in their fields.

Responsibilities:

-Lead weekly or bi-weekly class sessions

-Accommodate participants with various levels of mobility, creativity, backgrounds, languages and flexibility

Initial Impact:

Provide older adults with an opportunity to increase their physical activity, creativity, and learning abilities.

Outcomes:

Participants learn techniques particular to each class taught.

Training:

Zoom interview

In person meeting in on-site clubhouse prior to classes

Support:

EngAGE staff and on-site staff

Commitment:

Completion of contracted class schedule

Amount of Time:

1-hr / weekly or 2hrs-bi-weekly / TBD

Time of Day:

M-F /morning - evening

Location:

Qualifications:

Possess credentials/certification or have professional experience leading classes in the applied category

Clear LiveScan screening (FBI/DOJ) prior to service

Preferred Skills

-Prior experience instructing and leading a group of older adults in a class setting

-Excellent communication and organizational skills

-Passion for health, wellness, and/or creativity

-Focus on Aging and Gerontology would be a BIG bonus, but not required
