Job DescriptionLead a team of validation engineers who work on connectivity (

Wi-Fi & BT) modules for a next generation consumer product that is expected to revolutionize wearables industry in coming years. This individual will be working within our facility in Sunnyvale helping validation engineers to overcome technical impediments, develop test plans, test design and mentor team members to come up with more qualitative defects.We expect this individual to take responsibility of the Connectivity module deliverables, provide product quality update to leadership by tracking product feature KPIs, track validation schedules and lead reviews with the customer on a regular basis.Will be responsible for delivering solutions on time, cost and quality needs for customer.We also expect this individual to manage the technical relationship with the Customer, coordinate with various teams across customer organization and Quest Off-Shore delivery team.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Understanding of CE Devices Architecture
  • Minimum 8 years of Testing Experience in BT /Wi-Fi connectivity of products, especially on various phases of product bring up
  • Troubleshoot devices (Routers, Windows, Mac, IOS, and Android) and fix the issues
  • Should be capable of setting up and configuring Wi-Fi and/or BT lab devices and chambers
  • Responsible for test coverage analysis and system level HW/SW validation testing
  • Should have excellent interpersonal and customer relational Skills.
  • Active participation is planning and Retrospective meetings with customer
  • Embedded development/design experience required
  • Should have strong capability in one of the following sets and a good understanding on other

Requirement Set – Bluetooth
  • Knowledge of Bluetooth classic and BLE profiles such as HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, MAP, HID and GATT.
  • Experience/knowledge in Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low-Energy protocols required
  • Good understanding of Bluetooth profile/protocol and Wi-Fi standards.
  • Good understanding of Bluetooth SIG specifications.
  • Knowledge of IEEE 802.11 protocol standard in 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz frequency band.

Requirements Set – Wi-Fi
  • Experience Interoperability testing for various 802.11n ,802.11 ac(wave1/2), 802.11 ax
  • Experience in troubleshooting network issues, configuring APs and client devices.
  • Knowledge on wired and wireless networking protocols like TCP/IP, 802.11Series.
  • Proficiency in test management tools like Azure and JIRA.
  • Nice to have experience in design and implantation of Automation testing
  • Good to have knowledge in android and iOS testing
  • Good to have prior experience in the Wi-Fi testing of wearables
  • Experience in implementing Wi-Fi test Suite to configure devices and generate traffic streams with specified parameters.
  • Should have good knowledge on Wi-Fi specifications, IEEE standards, best practices, coexistence considerations etc.
  • Strong working knowledge on networking device testing including Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols.
  • Should have knowledge on various Chamber or test set up for Wi-Fi testing.

Qualification:
