Become a maker of possible with us.Tech II, Calibration TechnicianThe calibration technician II is required to apply knowledge of electronics, mathematics, and measurement science to calibrate inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IM&TE) in order to ensure measurement accuracy in accordance with precise standards and procedures.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCalibrate the inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IM&TE)
Follow BD calibration procedures, industry standards (ISO), or manufacturers’ requirements for accurate calibration of IM&TE.
Assist in the coordination of periodic onsite calibrations with third party contractors.
Maintain working calibration standards.
Collect, measure, summarize, and record data gathered during calibration.
Identify and correct measurement errors, as applicable.
Perform second review to ensure calibrated equipment is complaint with specifications and requirements.
Generate Calibration Reports.
Works with a minimal degree of supervision
Complies with regulations, standards, and general good documentation practices
Work with process improvements projects
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Desirable Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to perform general math and algebra functions
Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
Strong attention to detail, and communication skills
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor
ASQ Certified Calibration Technician qualification(preferred)
4 year of calibration experience or formal training in Metrology(preferred)
